[Snickers and then he stretches out. He doesn't look like he's as exhausted as she was when she locked herself away in the library, but he does look sleepy.
Leans back in the couch and returns to cuddling with her.]
[She takes note of this, and wonders what the best way to approach it would be. Something told her it had everything to do with what he didn't want to talk about just yet.]
I'm certainly looking forward to the entertainment it'll bring.
[She pulls away again, but only to ask:]
Did you want to lay down? You might be more comfortable that way.
[Sentimental as it was, laps were not always the softest or most comfortable pillows. But, wait! A solution: Zee reaches over to the far end of the couch and grabs one of the smaller throw pillows. She places it on her lap.]
[Shifts around so that he can rest his head on her lap. He's short enough that he can stretch out comfortably on the couch. Yawns and closes his eyes over again.]
Think so? [Briefly opens his eyes to look up at her.]
I've just been doing a lot of thinking. [Playing with his hair seems to be doing the trick because he sounds sleepy.]
I found out I had a soul not that long ago. I've seen enough in our world to know something like that's possible but enough to also know it might not be possible.
[Not all souls went to heaven, of course. Some of them remained trapped inside magic helmets.]
[Of course, she's not going to bring that up right then, because Dick seems all too comfortable with the notion. She has a feeling there are particular loved ones he's thinking of. The family he'd lost.]
[She just barely makes out his last words before he drifts off. And she sits there, staring at his slumbering face but only partially seeing him. Her mind is elsewhere as she continues to stroke his hair until a single drop of water falls on her wrist.]
Re: Action!
It's gonna be a killer night, that's for sure.
[...even though she was.]
Re: Action!
I don't doubt it, I hear the people who are financing the prom are low-dead.
Re: Action!
Bet they're going to be livid when they get the bill next month.

So yeah, it sounds like it will be a fun evening.

Re: Action!
[If she's offering to use her lap as a pillow, he's all for that, otherwise he's good as he is.]
Re: Action!
Will this suffice?

Perfect.
Re: Action!
I won't be offended if you pass out, you know.
No offense, but you look almost as bad as I did last month.

Re: Action!
I believe it.
Re: Action!
[Smiles as he thinks about his parents, aunt, and cousin being in a place like that.]
It's a nice thought.
Re: Action!

A place where everybody can be reunited again.
Re: Action!
Yeah, that sounds nice. I'd like that. I'd like to see them again.
[Those last few words come out in a mumble and within a minute or two he's fallen asleep.]
Re: Action!
So would I.
