[Kon tried calling Conner at the first hint of weirdness. When Conner didn't pick up, he tried again. And again. It was only when he realized that the call wasn't connecting, that he tried calling Robin to find out what was going on with Conner. And then Robin didn't pick up.
[She does pick up. But there is less panic on her end and more of a sense of...eerily calm. Despite the sounds of fighting going on around her. Like she were in denial of everything.]
So I will admit I panicked when no one was answering their phones. Please tell me that against all odds you somehow talked Conner and Robin into a sleepover complete with make-overs and frilly underthings and neither of them are answering their phones ' cause they don't wanna admit to enjoying the lip gloss?

Kon skipped all the way to stage five: panic.]

When was the last time you heard from either of them?
[audio]
Conner, he was berating me for poking the shadow men.

They might be on a mission. Radio silence is a thing with them sometimes.
Haven North gets terrible reception, you know.

Thanks, Zatanna!

[More muffled sounds from the background. The last words she speaks sound equally passive, almost distant.]
I have to go.
[WIth that, she immediately hangs up without further explanation.]
