[...and yet, Zatanna has yet to get up. Not quite finding the will to move just yet.]

[Doesn't make any effort to move either. It's nice and cozy here, the DVD player and kitchen both seem so far away.]

Just so you know, you were right. That was a real treat.

[She really should get up. The DVD's gone back to the main menu, and it's really nothing more than a still picture of Mike and the Bots silhouetted in front of a blue screen with the word PLAY in the center]

[...nope, not yet....]

I may have found my new favorite series.

[Still not making any effort to move. In fact, he's not even bothering to look at the screen any more. Instead he's looking at her as the two of them are conversing. Though it's a little tricky for her to see that since he has his shades on.]

We could make a habit out of this. Or even show the rest of the team.

We could or we could make it our thing too. [Not that he doesn't mind showing their friends fun things, but he's really like this right now.]

[She likes the idea of them having a thing. Just the two of them.]

...I should...probably set up the next movie, shouldn't I?

I'm not in a rush if you're not in a rush.

[As he speaks he begins to play with the ends of a few strands of her hair, that are scattered over her shoulders.]

[She shakes her head, enjoying the occasional brush of fingers against her shoulders as he plays with her hair. It was incredibly relaxing; closing her eyes, she lets out a small 'hmm' of contentment.]

[Lets out a long, content sigh. It feels like he can let go of everything that's been bothering him for the last month or so, and just enjoy being in her company. At this age they might not be able to have things as deep and meaningful as they would in a few years, but they were young enough that the fondness they felt for each other could make everything feel easier.

Though there was one thing he had at the moment that was a reminder that there would always be some complications, no matter how right the moment felt.]

Hey, close your eyes.

...hmm?

[Ironically, this causes her to open them briefly to look up at him, before giving a nod and closing them again]

Why?

[Once her eyes are closed, he lifts his sunglasses up and places them on the top of his head.]

Just 'cause.

[Shifts his position slightly and tilts his forehead forward, so their foreheads are touching. Which should make it obvious to her that he doesn't have his sunglasses on at the moment. He wants to show her that while he might have hesitations about unveiling his true identity, he trusts her enough to not open her eyes when she knows she could get a glimpse of who he really is.]

[She gives an inaudible gasp when their foreheads touch, understanding instantly.]

Robin...

[It was incredibly tempting to open her eyes. But she knew there was a reason Robin had asked her to close her eyes, and if he'd wanted her to see, he would have told her. Still...]

You took them off. Your sunglasses.

[Watches her eyes to see if they start to crack at all, but she keeps them closed. It's not enough to make him ask her to open her eyes, but it does bring him a step closer to doing that. He smiles at her even though she can't see it and then lifts his forehead.]

You make it sound like I took my pants off.

[Slips his sunglasses back on. Whenever she opens her eyes, she'll find him grinning. He knows what she meant by the comment and he knows she knows what he meant by the gesture, so he doesn't mind cracking a joke.]

[With all this unspoken understanding and meaning going on between them, she doesn't mind cracking a joke right back:]

Maybe you did. How am I supposed to know? My eyes are closed.

It may become one of the great mysteries of the universe. And now I think it's time to grab some popcorn and pop.

[Takes his time getting up before he stretches and rolls his shoulders.]

What a mystery.

[She senses him getting up, and lifts her head to the general direction of his voice]

Does this mean I can open my eyes now?

I know, try not to think about it too much. I wouldn't want you to become flabbergasted. Maybe flabbered, but not so much with the gasted.

And yeah, go ahead. [Moves into the kitchen.]

[Smiling to herself, she opens her eyes and takes advantage of the break to switch movies in the DVD player. Returning to the couch even before Robin's back from the kitchen.]

[This day couldn't possibly get any better.]

[Returns to the living room a few minutes later with a large bowl of popcorn and two glasses of Mt.Dew. He sets the glasses down on the table and then resumes his seat on the couch with her.]

And I'm back. Miss me?

Not really.

[She's smiling as she returns to their previous position, partially leaning against him]

Though, I will say, you make a fabulous pillow.

You sure know how to make a guy feel special, Zatanna.

[Snickers and then he slips his arm around her shoulders. Resumes being all nice and cozy with her.]</small. I do, don't I?

[She shifts against him, finding he most comfortable position, grimacing at the television, where Han is currently slicing an animal's carcas open]

Better than a tauntaun, that's for sure.

I have now reached my life goal. I always said to myself "Self, I hope one day a pretty girl will consider me a more comfortable pillow than a tauntaun." Thank you for helping me realize my dream.
