[Is nervous and excited all at once as he arrives at her door. There's a plastic bag full of pop hanging around his wrist and chips. In his hand he has a bag clutched that is filled with food from what strangely reminded him of Taco Bell. He uses his freehand to knock on the door on the door a couple of times, before he reaches up to pop out his earbuds. Someone has been listening to some music to get himself all pumped for his date.]
[Zatanna was more on the "pleased" end of the emotional scale than anything else. Pleased that things finally seemed like they were going back to normal. Or, at normal as lives like there could possibly get.]
[There were a pile of DVDs sitting by the plasma screen, popcorn popping in the microwave, and a variety of homemade cooking in the fridge, just waiting to be heated up for later. She and Rapunzel always had leftover whenever they cooked.]
[She was just finishing pulling her hair back into a loose ponytail when the door knocked; opening it to reveal a pair of loose, faded jeans, black long-sleeved shirt, and a warm smile.]
[Dick wasn't sure what he'd end up feeling once that door opened up. The past three weeks had had so many emotional ups and downs, not to mention plenty of awkwardness.
Draws in his breath as he hears the door start to open.]
Hey, yourself.
[Smiles at her and now the excitement is starting to over take the nervousness. The nervousness is still there, especially when he takes note of how good she looks in her current outfit, but it's not the stomach gripping kind from earlier.
Robin had his sunglasses on for the time being, as well as a dark blue graphic t-shirt and matching jeans. Not to mention a light dabble of cologne.]
I was going to pick up some pizza, but I was thinking after you've had legit Italian, having "Real Italian" from space probably doesn't taste so real.
By the time we're doing I'm going to have to stay away from the acrobatics tomorrow. I'll probably plummet straight to the ground.
[Snickers before he follows her inside of her apartment.]
Thanks, and yeah, for now. There's still a few things I need to get squared away, and besides, I thought girls were into the whole mysterious thing? [Grins at her.]
[She laughs at the joke, shrugging off the implication that he wasn't ready to take the sunglasses off yet. It shouldn't've bothered her...and, for the most part, it really didn't. But there was that small part of her that couldn't help feel a twinge of disappointment.]
You know it. Magic's all about hiding in plain sight, after all.
The rest of us have to go sneaking around in the shadows. [Moves into the kitchen to set the snacks and bag of tacos. He inhales all of the different scents in his kitchen and then licks his lips.]
I was thinking of waiting awhile to eat but now I'm down for eating whenever.
[She smirks over her shoulder as she heads for the fridge, opening the door and taking a peek inside.]
Let's see...we have some vegetable lasagna from last night...a couple stuffed peppers...Chinese eggplant...and what looks like a...souffle? I have no idea, really; Rapunzel made that one while I was out.
It can be pretty fun, especially when you watch Batman pop out of the shadows and the criminals all look like they need a new change of underwear. [Smirkitysmirk.]
And then I bring a bag full of greasy, cheesy tacos that are deep fried and full of delicious badness.
There's some chicken too. It's a little healthier or at least that's what they claim. But who knows where they get their chicken from. I mean this could be spacechicken that's secretly grown in labs...which isn't that different than some earth chicken.

[Another pause.] You look great, by the way.
Re: [action]
No big. We've got enough leftovers in the fridge to feed half the team. Including Wolf.
[Taking a step back, she gestures for him to come inside. Fighting the slight rush of warmth to her cheeks at his compliment.]
Thanks. You too.
I'm guessing the sunglasses are going to be a regular thing, huh?

[Rolls her eyes humorously]
I think I'll risk the Space Chicken. Gotta try everything at least once, right?

[Takes out the chicken burrito and tosses it over to her, before he helps himself to a taco. Holds the taco up like he's making a toast.]
Here's to living adventurously.

Not bad for Space Chicken.

Don't worry; I won't.

I wasn't worried, I have a bag full of tacos to protect myself with. [Holds his taco up like a shield.]

I'm not really sure how protected you'd be hiding behind cheap fast food.
